About
I came to product design through typography, then spent three years inside Salesforce CRMs for telco, insurance and media clients. Since 2022 I’ve built the design function at Cactus, a POS platform where 150 merchants and 46,000 people get through a shift.
I work best with a developer telling me what something costs and another designer arguing about whether it’s right.

How I work
Understand the business first, design second.
Every industry I’ve worked in was new to me. The first job is learning how money moves and where the operation breaks.
Most problems are structural.
When an interface feels wrong it’s usually reporting a problem, not causing it. I change the model and leave the screens alone.
The states nobody demos.
Empty, denied, offline, first day. Products get judged on the happy path and lived in everywhere else.
I like being argued with.
My best decisions came from engineers telling me the cost and commercial teams telling me what it had to move.
